  • Code Narrator - (Webpage) The Code Narrator is an activity used to quickly document information from a code. Narrators bring together the majority of the documentation tools needed for a given situation.

  • Enter/Edit Results - (Webpage) The Enter/Edit Results activity is used to enter test result data including Point of Care and External Results. These results will display with the results being interfaced to Epic from our lab systems.

  • In Basket - (Webpage) In Basket is an electronic messaging system used within Epic Applications. Messages are sent and received similarly to email and can be directed to both individual recipients and to groups of recipients.

  • Media Manager - (Webpage) The Media Manager activity is a one-stop solution for managing many different types of files attached to the patient record. Documents, images, videos, and other types of files can be attached at the patient, encounter, or order level.

  • My Sticky Notes - (Webpage) My Sticky Notes are used to record non-clinical data about your patients, such as reminders or short messages that are not related to patient care.

  • Notes - (Webpage) Activity where clinicians can review all notes for a patient and, if authorized, create, edit, or cosign notes.

  • Patient Education - (Webpage) Patient Education is an activity used to document educational topics and points that have been discussed with the patient or family members.

  • Patient Transport - (Webpage) The Transport Command Center is designed for managing transporters and their assignments. Functions available from this activity include signing transporters in and out, creating transport requests, viewing details of individual transports, updating statuses for transport requests, and monitoring transport assignments.

  • Provider Finder - (Webpage) The Provider Finder activity searches for internal and external active providers based upon the entered criteria. For internal providers, the Provider Summary report may offer details on the physician type, specialties, NPI, and department.

  • Reporting Workbench - (Webpage) Reporting Workbench is an Epic tool that provides flexible, template-based reporting integrated with Hyperspace. Users are able to run reports from My Reports or from a My Dashboard. My Reports gives quick access to favorite Reporting Workbench reports, report results, and statuses of recently run reports.

  • Results Review - (Webpage) The Results Review activity is where clinicians can view patient results over time including labs, imaging, EKGs, and other diagnostic tests.

  • SmartTools - (Webpage) SmartTools are pre-configured text that can be used to standardize documentation, such as notes, within the system. SmartTools include SmartLinks, SmartLists, SmartPhrases, and SmartTexts.
