Beacon Scheduling Basics

Beacon Treatment Plan Infusion Appointment Scheduling - (Handout) Treatment Plans are used for chemotherapy treatment and other treatments involving infusion therapies. These plans will generate an infusion appointment request scheduling order. Scheduling staff for locations where infusion therapies are provided will use a Treatment Plan Scheduling workqueue to schedule and modify appointments for these therapies.

Creating a Singular Infusion Visit with Multiple Plans- (Handout) When a patient has multiple infusion plans that need to be scheduled for the same date, the infusion appointment requests can be linked to a singular visit and scheduled in one appointment. The visit length must be updated to account for both plans’ infusion time needs.
