  • Beacon Oncology Storyboard - (Handout) An overview of the Beacon Oncology Storyboard and details for how it will display and can be used in different patient settings.
  • Episodes of Care - (Handout) An Episode is a function used in Epic to link together multiple encounters because they share a patient condition or treatment regimen such as pregnancy, transplant, dialysis, back pain or chemotherapy. This linking of encounters makes reviewing, reporting, and billing for them easier. An Episode Report can be found within the Chart Review activity for encounters that are linked in this way (such as Therapy or Treatment Plans).
  • Mosaiq-Epic Interface for Beacon Users - (Handout) For a summary of a patient’s radiation treatments, clinicians can access data from Mosaiq (the Radiation Oncology software) within Epic through Episodes, the ONC Synopsis tool within Visit Navigators, the Synopsis activity, and SmartPhrases.
  • Review Your Patient's Cancer Treatment - (Handout) Use the Springboard Report to see a comprehensive overview of a patient's treatment plan and to jump to other activities or reports where you can review more detailed information.
  • Synopsis Feature Tour - (PowerPoint) Overview of Synopsis' s updated look and improved functionality.
  • Treatment Plan Columns to add to Schedules / Lists - (Handout) Columns can be added to a clinician’s My Schedule or My List to display the name of a patient's Treatment Plan(s), the status of orders in those plans, prior authorization, and the date treatment is planned for.
  • Treatment Plan Episode Report in the Sidebar - (Handout) Outpatient nursing staff can view the treatment plan episode report in the sidebar while working in other activities.
