- Infusion Appointment Request Linked Incorrectly - (Handout) Infusion Appointment Request orders are automatically linked to appointments during the scheduling process. Some workflows allow for manual linking of the order to the appointment. Manual linking may lead to orders being linked incorrectly. Learn how to identify if an Infusion Appointment Request has been linked and subsequently released incorrectly and resolve the issue.
- Linking/Unlinking Requests to Existing Appointments - (Handout) Appointment Requests can be linked or unlinked to existing appointments from the Appointment Desk. This can be done for future or past appointments, including after end of day processing has run on an appointment.
- Unintended Infusion Appointment to Inpatient Admission Workflows - (Handout) For Trabectedin infusions, if the admission bed request is placed on the wrong visit, the infusion will not be able to proceed. In that case, the Admission from Appointment encounter will need to be canceled, then the admitting provider would have to add a new admission bed request to the correct visit.

- Generate Scheduling Templates for an Infusion Department - (Handout) In Infusion departments, identified users have the ability to generate infusion schedules based on the volume and needs of the department.
- Visit Assignment Wizard - (Handout) Use the Visit Assignment Wizard to assign Clinical Staff as resources on appointments. Using the wizard allows users to view all appointments and clinical staff who have a certain resource type, such as Infusion Nurse, and can switch into assignment mode to assign resources to appointments. Within the wizard there’s an automatic mode where the system calculates the best resource to assign to each appointment and review the suggestions before finalizing them.
