Scheduling 1 - This class is required for Epic Scheduling security.
Scheduling 2 - This class is strongly recommended, especially for staff for whom scheduling is their primary job. Please seek operational guidance (e.g. FOL Leadership) for expectations in having staff attend this course. Does not provide additional Epic security.
OVERBOOK ACCESS: Overbook access is by request only and with approval. To request overbook access, please email Michael Hesseltine. This access is not automatically granted with the request; a decision will be made to determine if it will be allowed for the requestor.
Before sending the request, make sure the staff member has completed Epic Cadence Scheduling 1 and 2. There is no additional training required for overbook access.
Practice Outside of Class: See Practice Using Epic for practice patients and logins that help target most common workflows within the Epic Playground environments.
