Scheduling 1 - Offered twice per month, this class is required for Epic Scheduling security.
Scheduling 2 - Offered once per month. Not required for Epic Scheduling security; please seek operational guidance (e.g. FOL Leadership) for expectations in having staff attend this course.

Before sending the request, make sure the staff member has completed Epic Cadence Scheduling class. There is no special class or additional training for it. Overbook access is by request only and with approval.

Registration: Online through ERMA Search for: Sched
Roles: Any employee who schedules patient appointments (front desk, clinical staff, etc.).
Content: Interpreting a provider's schedule, scheduling new and existing patients, scheduling across multiple locations, schedule searches (Multiple Provider and Auto Search), and referral warnings. Also included are scheduling from Appointment Requests and from incoming Referrals, Accident-Related appointments, and cancelling / rescheduling appointments. Class includes hands-on training, self-guided exercises, and activities.
Class length: 4 hours
Prerequisites: Cadence Scheduling 1 and must have completed the following eLearning prior to attending Scheduling 2:
- CAD016 Making Template Changes (20 min)
Registration: Online through ERMA Search for: Sched
Roles: Any employee who schedules patient appointments (front desk, clinical staff, etc.).
Content: Making Provider Template changes, working the Waitlist, scheduling Joint Appointments, and scheduling with Pools and Questionnaires. Class includes hands-on training, self-guided exercises, and activities.
