Willow is Epic's application designed to support the workflows in pharmacy settings. The three Willow Applications include:
- Willow Inpatient - Tools and functionalities that support Inpatient and Clinic Administered medications.
- Willow Ambulatory - Prescription Processing software used in our retail pharmacies.
- Willow Inventory - Functionality to manage NDCs, inventory and shipments for Willow Ambulatory.

Pharmacist Roles

Pharm Tech Roles
Pharmacy Students (with RPh Intern licensure on file) who have a paid pharmacy appointment take the same training as Pharm Techs in the area they will be working.
Non-Pharmacy Students who have Pharm Tech Trainee or Certified licensure on file and are in a paid student pharmacy job code (i.e. S170, S816, S817) take the same trainings as Pharm Techs in the area they will be working.

Pharmacy Student (non-paid) Roles
Pharmacy Students who also have a paid position will also need to complete required trainings necessary for their paid position. For Retail Pharmacies, if a Pharmacy Student has taken both Willow Ambulatory and Willow Pharmacy Student, they will be granted Pharm Student access in WAM.
