Discharge Lounge

Discharge Lounge One-Click - (Handout)When patients qualify for the Discharge Lounge, clerks will receive an InBasket message based on nurse documentation. Based on additional communication, they'll use One Click scheduling to schedule, and will Room the patient upon arrival.
DOT Physicals

Scheduling, Checking In, and Checking out DOT Physicals - (Handout) At locations where DOT Physicals are completed, users will need to complete appropriate registration steps to ensure billing occurs accurately.
Med GI/Hepatology

‘One Click’ Scheduling and Check In for Med GI/Hepatology Procedures - (Handout) The Med GI/Hepatology Procedure Unit will use ‘One Click’ to schedule and check in patients for after-hours procedures.
Oncology

Oncology Navigator Scheduling - (Handout) When a referral to the Clinical Cancer Center is received, schedulers review the referral, request external records if needed, and send the referral to navigators for triage. If the referral is accepted as appropriate for navigators, the patient is scheduled to the appropriate Navigator Intake Visit. During the Intake Visit, Navigators verify the documentation and place and schedule orders with the appropriate oncology specialists and further navigator visits as needed.
Quick Care and Urgent Care

Checking In an "On My Way" Appointment for QuickCare and Urgent Care - (Handout) Patients may self-schedule appointments at Quick Care and Urgent Care locations using “On My Way" from both MyChart and the UIHC webpage. These visits will display on the DAR, and the patient will need to be checked in upon their arrival at the clinic.

Marking an "Open Scheduling" Time Slot "Unavailable" for Quick Care and Urgent Care - (Handout) Under certain circumstances, Quick Care and Urgent Care front desk staff may need to mark “Open Scheduling” time slots “Unavailable” so that patients cannot self-schedule into them.

One Click Scheduling for Quick Care and Urgent Care - (Handout) Front desk staff at Quick Care and Urgent Care locations schedule patients upon their arrival to the clinic using “One Click” Scheduling.
Transplant

Transplant Lab Encounters - (Handout) Draw Station schedulers can create One-Click encounters for releasing Transplant lab orders in Transplant Treatment Plan (Txp Lab Plan). Following this process makes the orders active and available for Phlebotomy to use when collecting specimens. Clinicians can release orders in Transplant Treatment Plan (Txp Lab Plan) activity.
