Ancillary access is for a wide variety of users who not only need to review patient information but also need to document information in the patient's chart (i.e. document in a navigator, create a clinic/progress note, and/or place orders).
Class Length: 4 hours
Prerequisites: A link to the pre-requisites will be sent in a confirmation email to those registered for the in-person class.
Registration: Managers or HR Reps must register staff via ERMA

Roles: Audiologists, Cardiac Rehabilitation Specialists, Child Life Therapists, Dietitians & Diet Clerks, Genetic Counselors, Neurology Sleep & EEG Techs, Radiation Therapists, Rehab Therapists, Research Assistants/Coordinators*, Speech Therapists, and Spiritual Services staff. Also included are those within the Child Health Specialty Clinic (CHSC) and the Center for Disabilities and Development (CDD) needing to write notes and/or place orders.
Pre-Requisite Content: Overview of Epic, Patient Lists, Multi-Provider Schedule, Patient Station and Open Chart, Chart Review, Patient Reports, and Results Review.
In-Class Content: Notes, Navigators, Orders, Telephone Encounters, and the In Basket.
*Research Assistants/Coordinators only needing to manage research studies or link an encounter to a study (will not be writing notes or placing orders) should refer to the Research Course page.
