Creating an OR Case - Nurses - (Handout) A case must be created for all patients to enter the Labor and Delivery OR. If a case has not been scheduled, nurses can create the case.
Creating an OR Case - Unit Clerks - (Handout)A case must be created for all patients to enter the Labor and Delivery OR. If a case has not been scheduled, unit clerks can create the case.
Moving a LDR Case on the Snapboard - When a LDR patient with a scheduled case in the future presents for an unscheduled case, move the scheduled case to the date and time the case occurred.
Outpatient Visits on LDR - (Handout) The Snapboard activity will be used to schedule and check in a patient when a provider has placed an order for an L&D Nurse Only Visit. If the patient’s condition progresses and needs to be in observation, the patient’s outpatient visit will need to be arrived.
Stork Cesarean Section to In OR Fetal Monitoring - (Handout) If it is determined that a patient in the OR does not need a Cesarean Section, change the procedure to In OR Fetal Monitoring.
