Willow Ambulatory (Pharmacy)
Willow Ambulatory is Epic’s ambulatory pharmacy system, which uses an integrated approach to receiving, filling, and dispensing prescriptions. Willow Ambulatory can receive electronic prescription medication orders from physicians in any Epic application and can process refill requests from patients using MyChart. Willow Ambulatory can also accept external electronic prescriptions through Surescripts. It is also important to note that medication orders placed for administration in ambulatory clinics will still need to be verified in Willow Inpatient in Hyperspace.
