Welcome is an Epic tool that offers patients self-service options such as verifying clinical information. The touch screen interface allows patients to complete patient history and review of systems questionnaires prior to clinic visits. Welcome can be used at workstations with touch screen monitors or on a handheld tablet.

Resources

The following resources provide information on Welcome functionality.

  • Welcome Questionnaires into Flowsheets - (Handout) Patients can fill out questionnaires that have been assigned to them by either MyChart or Welcome ahead of being seen by a clinician. Some of these questionnaires are now automatically filed to a flowsheet, if configured to do so.
