Oneview is an interactive patient care system that used a TV/touch screen computer in the patient's hospital room. Patients can use it to feel more comfortable and engaged while in the hospital by watching movies/TV, using clinical tools, engaging with staff, ordering meals, or completing goals in their treatment. Oneview is designed to help the care team members further communicate and interact with patients.

Resources

The following resources provide information on Oneview functionality.

Nursing Workflows

  • Assigning Patient Education Videos in SFCH - (Handout) To support viewing, rating, and the write-back of patient educational videos from the Oneview System into Epic, staff will assign videos using the Education Activity in Epic.

  • Assigning Patient Goals in SFCH - (Handout) Patient Goals are assigned using the Oneview Care Team Console (CTC). Goals can be flagged to be repeatable so they automatically appear every day. Staff members can also add personalized goals. Patients and family members can add personal goals using their access in Oneview.

  • Twins/Multiple Birth Workflows for Patient Education Videos and Goals for Oneview in SFCH - (Handout) Multiple Birth babies in the Oneview system need to be handled in a different manner. Oneview will only display the baby admitted to bed A in these rooms as there is only one Oneview workstation installed.
