The following resources provide information on documentation functionality for Interpreter Services.
- Documenting in the Interpreter Services Activity (ANC901) - (Video: 7 min) OR Documenting in the Interpreter Services Activity - (Handout) Interpreters will document information about the services they have provided in the Interpreter Services activity within the patient’s encounter.
- Documenting Interpreter Services for a Telephone Call (ANC902) - (Video: 7 min) OR Documenting Interpreter Services for a Telephone Call - (Handout) Interpreters will document services provided for a telephone call on a telephone encounter.
- Documenting Interpreter Services Provided - (Handout) Nursing staff in Inpatient and Outpatient settings have access to review and document when Interpreter Services provides translational services to patients.
- Documenting Preferred Language and Indicating Interpreter Needs - (Handout) A Preferred Language must be documented for all patients. Interpreter needs should also be documented for patients in Registration.
- Interpreter Services Assignment - (Handout) Interpreters can be assigned, changed, or remove from clinic visits by using the Interpreter Services Activity. Staff can view the assigned interpreter or interpreter services (Hands Up, Cyracom, etc.) in various activities such as the Appt Desk or the Schedule.
