Department Appointments Report (DAR)

The DAR is an interactive report used mainly by schedulers in Cadence to manage and monitor patients coming into and going from a department. From the report, schedulers can perform tasks such as scheduling, canceling, changing, checking in, and checking out appointments.

The following resources provide information on DAR functionality.

Customizing the DAR - (Handout)) The DAR can be customized to better fit day-to-day tasks by creating a private report, specifying the criteria for the report, and adjusting the columns to display.
Printing the DAR - (Handout) The DAR shows a list of the appointments for a single day in a clinical area. The UIHC Schedule Printout report can be used to create a private report in order to customize the settings and print the report.
Reviewing the DAR - (Handout) The Department Appointments Report (DAR) is the central report for Cadence patient check-in and check-out workflows. The DAR provides information about the day’s appointments, may be used to check patients in or out, and provides access to other workflows such as printing parking validation or updating End of Day status.
