Registration: Online through ERMA   
Managers or HR Reps must register staff for session 48107 in ERMA. Staff will receive an email notification that contains the link to the online training.

Roles:  Centralized Monitoring Unit (CMU) Telemetry Technicians

Content: Intro to Hyperspace, Patient Station, In Basket, Patient Lists, documenting in Flowsheets, and rhythm strip scanning in Media Manager.

Class length: 3.5 hours

Prerequisites: None

Registration: UIHC managers must contact the Nursing Clinical Education Center at 319-356-4304.

Roles: UIHC Nursing Assistants

Content: My List, reports, Chart Review, Doc Flowsheets, Intake/Output activity, Point of Care Test documentation, Flowsheet Notes and the Notes activity.

Class length: 4 hours

Prerequisites: Unit Clerks, Patient Care Technicians, and Nursing Assistants must complete an online prerequisite course before attending ADT class. The prerequisite link will be mailed to participants upon registration.

Charge Nurses, RNs, Nurse Managers, or ATC staff members must have attended their appropriate primary Epic training (such as the Inpatient RN class, ATC class, etc.) prior to attending Epic ADT for Nursing class.

Registration: Online through ERMA     Search for: ADT

Roles:  Nursing Unit Clerks, Nursing Assistants, Patient Care Technicians, Charge Nurses, Nurse Managers, or ATC staff.

Content: In-depth exploration of the Unit Manager activity including care areas, completion of Direct Admits and Incoming Transfers, Patient Transport, Discharge, Event Management, and Media Manager scanning.
