UIHC Departments and Clinics that offer full and/or partial elective services must take the Epic Cosmetic/Elective/Retail Billing course to receive appropriate Epic security.

COSMETIC / ELECTIVE / RETAIL BILLING

Class length: 2 hours

Prerequisites: Epic security that is NOT read-only

Registration: Email epictrainingrequests@healthcare.uiowa.edu

Roles: UIHC Department and Clinic staff that take pre-payments for full and/or partial elective services or match the pre-payment to the elective charges.

Content: Pre-payment posting, pre-payment matching, full cosmetic and elective billing, partial cosmetic and elective billing.
